This week at Flourishes the new Challenge is to create a snowy feel to our cards. This challenge came at the right time for me as I just created a card that I feel does just that. The supplies I used are papers from Gina K, design paper from Basic Greys Jovial paper pack, The Snowman image from the stamp set Warm Winter Wishes, I colored him with Copic markers and stamped snowflakes and added glitter to them along with the sentiment from the same set. I used the Spellbinders Grand Calibur to cut the Christmas tree, new snowflake pendant, label 17, Fleur De Lis Accent. I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the Holly Ribbons folder on the back layer. I added clear rhinestones from Queen & Co, lace and ribbon from my stash, and a Prima Pointsettia. Thank so much for stopping by, Have a wonderful day!!

Flourishes Challenge # 141
The Hostess for this weeks Flourishes challenge is Maki, and she is asking us to make a project using Trees / Leaves. Not to use flowers for our focal image. I like this challenge, I always seem to use a floral image, so this was fun for me. I used cardstock from Gina K and Paper Trey Ink. Design paper from Memory Box Co. from last years Tinsel stack. The image I used is from the Forest of Trees stamp set, I stamped it with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and then applied MS glitter to it. I cut it out with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur using Labels 18, and then traced the die and hand cut it to make a layer for the image. I also used the new Spellbinders Edgeabilities Classic Bracket, and an flourish die from the Fleur de Lis Accents set and added some pearls from Queen & Co. PTI ribbon, a button from my stash that I tied some bakers twine to and attached to the bow. The sentiment is from the Warm Winter Wishes stamp set. Oh, and the branches are cut with a MS punch.Thank you for stopping to see my card, I hope you have a wonderful day.

JustRite Challenge # 61
For this weeks challenge at JustRite Stampers they are challenging us to get scrappy, and use all those loose scraps and diecuts and anything left on our desks lurking about from other craft projects to make this weeks card or project. This is great for me because I have lots of " stuff " lurking on my desk from ideas I didn't use from other cards and projects. For my card I had already colored in an image of the corn from Autumn Blessings, that I colored with Copic Markers. I also had a leaf die cut from Spellbinders already cut and embossed with the Cuttlebug folder, Pumpkin Harvest. I used assorted cardstock from Gina K for the cardbase and layers. Design paper from My Minds Eye paper pack All Spice. I just recieved the new Edgeabilities from Spellbinders, and I used the Classic Petals on the left side of the card, and I also used the scrap from the edge of the cut for the bottom of the card. I added some distress ink on the leaf, some ribbon and lace, Spellbinders labels # 6 and 18, some bling and a decorative butterfly from my stash. I also used the sentiment from JustRite"s Fancy Tags. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Flourishes Challenge # 140
The new challenge at Flourishes this week is hosted by Silke, and she has challenged us to make a Halloween card or project or both. I decided to make a card. Unfortunetly, I don't own any Halloween stamp sets from Flourishes, so I used a pumpkin stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps and a sentiment from Flourishes Life Lines stamp set that I thought would work. To make my card I used cardstock from Gina K, design paper from K and Co., the cuttlebug folder Pumpkin Harvest, Tim Holtz new distress ink Gathered Twigs, Memento inks, Stickles xmas red, Offray ribbon, a Martha Stewart branch punch and Spellbinders dies. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Timeless Tuesday Challenge # 135
For this weeks challenge, Flourishes hostess, Beate, asked that we make a shaped card. I chose to use Spellbinders Grand Labels One for my card. I used die number two ( one being the smallest) on Gina K Chocolate Brown cs for the base. The design paper is from the Pinkpaislee stack, 365 degrees, and was cut from die number two of the Grand label one set. I bunched lace from my stash across the dsp, and added a piece of brown ribbon also from my stash on top of the lace. For my focal point I chose an image from the Flourishes stamp set Zinnias, that was colored with Copic markers, cut out with Spellbinders Beaded Ovals, and sponged with Rangers Tea Dye Distress ink. I added flowers from Prima that I sprayed with Copic marker # E31, and added sprigs from a Martha Stewart punch. A birthday sentiment from the PTI stamp set, Watercolor Trio, was punched out with Spellbinders petite ovals, also sponged, and rhinestones and pearls from Queen & Co were added to the card. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Flourishes Favorite Card Challenge
I am entering my card today in Flourishes Favorite Card Challenge. For this challenge they ask that you use your favorite stamp set to make a card. I don't have alot of Flourishes stamp sets but all of the the stamps I own are my favorites, and I chose to use the Lenten Rose set. This is so beautiful and I really like coloring it. For the card base I used GinaK 120lb pure white cs, then I layered that with PTI dark chocolate cs, topped that with one of the design papers from Memory Box's Valise paper pack. I added a looped border with my MS punch, some ribbon from my stash. The blue flower added is Prima. My focal Point is stamped on X-Press it Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in with Copic markers. I attached that to more of the PTI dark chocolate paper and added rhinestones from Queen & co, and added my sentiment from the same stamp set. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day
