Magnolia-Licious challenge

Hi everyone, this is the first card that I've posted in a while. My husband has been ill so I haven't had time to make any cards, but he is on the mend so, I can create again. My card is for the inspiration challenge at the Magnolia-Licious blog. I started with a white card base from PTI, my base layers are dark chocolate, also PTI. The yellow and white design paper is from K & Company, the Smitten specialty pack. The orange, grey, and white stripe paper is from Stampin' up. I don't know the name of the paper, I had it in my stash. The rhinestones are from Basic grey. I used a decorative swirl die from Sizzix in my Cuttlebug to cut the Gina K fresh asparagus paper I used under the green and orange Prima flowers. The white lace is from Offray, and I used my cricut die cutter to cut out an end table shape from the Heritage cartridge. I used my cuttlebug to cut out an oval from the Spellbinders petite small ovals dies, and then ran it through the cricut birds and swirls, embossing folder. I then sponged it with memento cantalope ink. My focal image is Midsummer Tilda and I colored her with my copic markers. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

  3. Hi Dee,
Very happy to hear your husband is getting better and you have time to make cards again :o)
Your card is lovely. Love the flowers in Tilda's hand. Don't think I have ever seen her in a brown dress, but you have done a grand job colouring her and the colour looks terrific. Pretty paper and lace as well. You really did a great job using the colours in our photo.
Thank you for joining our Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
    Hugs, Candy
