Flourishes Challenge # 141

The Hostess for this weeks Flourishes challenge is Maki, and she is asking us to make a project using Trees / Leaves. Not to use flowers for our focal image. I like this challenge, I always seem to use a floral image, so this was fun for me. I used cardstock from Gina K and Paper Trey Ink. Design paper from Memory Box Co. from last years Tinsel stack. The image I used is from the Forest of Trees stamp set, I stamped it with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and then applied MS glitter to it. I cut it out with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur using Labels 18, and then traced the die and hand cut it to make a layer for the image. I also used the new Spellbinders Edgeabilities Classic Bracket, and an flourish die from the Fleur de Lis Accents set and added some pearls from Queen & Co. PTI ribbon, a button from my stash that I tied some bakers twine to and attached to the bow. The sentiment is from the Warm Winter Wishes stamp set. Oh, and the branches are cut with a MS punch.Thank you for stopping to see my card, I hope you have a wonderful day.

JustRite Challenge # 61

For this weeks challenge at JustRite Stampers they are challenging us to get scrappy, and use all those loose scraps and diecuts and anything left on our desks lurking about from other craft projects to make this weeks card or project. This is great for me because I have lots of " stuff " lurking on my desk from ideas I didn't use from other cards and projects. For my card I had already colored in an image of the corn from Autumn Blessings, that I colored with Copic Markers. I also had a leaf die cut from Spellbinders already cut and embossed with the Cuttlebug folder, Pumpkin Harvest. I used assorted cardstock from Gina K for the cardbase and layers. Design paper from My Minds Eye paper pack All Spice. I just recieved the new Edgeabilities from Spellbinders, and I used the Classic Petals on the left side of the card, and I also used the scrap from the edge of the cut for the bottom of the card. I added some distress ink on the leaf, some ribbon and lace, Spellbinders labels # 6 and 18, some bling and a decorative butterfly from my stash. I also used the sentiment from JustRite"s Fancy Tags. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

In place of a ribbon I used the Spellbinders eyelet borderabilities die. I also used the labels 10 to cut out my image. I used a Marvey punch for the flourishes on the image, also rhinestones from Queen & co in baby blue. The flowers are from Prima, and the pine sprig punch is Martha Stewart. Flourishes challenge # 99

This card is for Flourishes challenge # 99. The challenge is to make a card with flowers on it. My card base is Gina K pure white 120lb cs. The layers are also Gina K papers, vibrant violet and fresh asparagus. The designer paper is from the DCWV stack, Nana's Nursery, Baby Boy. My stamped image is from the StampTV kit, elegant flowers. I stamped it with Memento tuxedo black ink, colored it with Copic markers, and sponged the edges with memento cantalope ink. I also stamped and sponged the sentiment with the same ink. The sentiment is from the Flourishes stamp set Peaches and Cherries. I used Spellbinders lacey squares and scalloped squares to cut the layers behind the image and spellbinders lg.squares to cut out the image. I cut the sentiment with lg. deckled rectangles. Rhinestones from Queen & Co in lilac were used on the top and side of the image. Thank you for taking a look at my card and have a great day.

Copic Challenge # 41 Sparkle

This is the first time I am entering the Copic's challenge. I have wanted to enter for a long time so here goes. My card base is from Gina K. Its the white pure luxury 120lb cs. The layers are backed with Gina K chocolate brown cs. The design paper is from Basic Grey Kioshi paper pad. The stamp is Snow Fun by Victoria Case. I stamped it on Marks Finest Papers Snow Storm Smooth 80lb paper, and colored it with copic markers. I cut it out with Spellbinders Labels 10 die # 4, and added clear rhinstones from Recollections. I added a rhinstone and pearl embellishment from Prima, and ribbon from Ofray. When I finished coloring the image I used Sparkly Fluff, in Daquiri Ice, on her collar, boot cuffs, and hat ties. I also used Martha Stewart glitter in course crystal. I had a lot of fun making this card and look forward to entering more challenges at Copic's. Have a great day.

Magnolia-Licious Challenge Blog

For this first challenge of the new year for the Magnolia-Licious Blog the inspiration is, a lot of white. So my card is made with PTI white cs for the base, and also for the layer that I ran thru the cuttlebug with the Brocade Window folder. I put this on top of my focal image which is Tilda on Ornament. I colored her with Copic markers and layered the brocade window. I added white ribbon from Gina K and white Prima flowers. A Martha Stewart punch was used for the pine branch trim arround the flowers, also the pearls are from M S. Thanks for stopping by to take a look and have a great day.
