Flourishes The Beauty of Vintage

For this card challenge Flourishes has asked us to make a card with a vintage flair to it. I have chosen to use the cardinal from Flourishes Christmas Classics stamp set as my focal image. I have used Copic Markers to color him, but first I stamped the image with Memento tuxedo black ink. My card base is PTI white cs. I also chose PTI new leaf and dark chocolate for my layers. The design papers I used are from My Minds Eye, Wonderful Winter, PTI Green Tea Leaves, and K & Co Yuletide stack. After coloring my image I cut it out with Spellbinders small octagon dies and small octagon scalloped dies. While still in the die I sponged the background with Memento summer sky ink. I adhered pale green Offray ribbon, and a tied bow with a heart button( from my stash) across the bottom layers. I also used a punch from EK success to the bottom layers of the card. Also at the top, I added some lace from Offray that I pinch pleated, a vintage button, and some small stringed pearls. This was a fun card to make, thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

The layers are from PTI, enchanted evening and hibiscus burst. The design papers are from Basic Grey, the eskimo kisses paper stack. In place of a ribbon I used the Spellbinders eyelet borderabilities die. I also used the labels 10 to cut out my image. I used a Marvey punch for the flourishes on the image, also rhinestones from Queen & co in baby blue. The flowers are from Prima, and the pine sprig punch is Martha Stewart.
