Flourishes Challenge # 96

Hello, the challenge is a little different today, we were asked to make a 3D christmas gift. My entry is a tea bag holder. This is the first time I've made one of these and I have to say I think it looks pretty nice. I started out with a piece of Gina K Lipstick Red cs. The inside is designer paper by K & Co. from theYuletide stack. I added ribbon from PTI, my focal image is from Flourishes christmas stamp set Christmas Classics, that I cut out with spellbinders classic circles large, and classic scalloped circles small, only because I don't have the large ones. As always my image is colored in with Copic markers, and I attached the holder with brads from my stash. I found the instructions for this on Splitcoast Stampers web site. Thanks for taking a look. Have a great day!

Saturday December 4th

The flowers are from Prima, the ribbon is from Making Memories Trims 5th Avenue. I used a marvy punch, and Martha Stewart glitter in gold. The image is from Carmen Medlin for SCACD ( Susana's Custom Art and Card Design ) called 1st Signs of Fall. I found this image on a card  on a blog I follow called Scrap Bitz by Susanne J Dean. She teaches Copic classes and has many videos on Utube. She is a great teacher and that is where I learned to color with Copics. I copied the colors she used on this image and I think it looks pretty much like hers so I will not enter it in any challenges, but I just wanted to show how the card turned out.
